Xiao’ou Jia

Xiao’ou, the emerging post-80s artist, utilises geometrical texture and abstract form to create this series of animal sculptures. This simplified concept aims to enable these dreamlike sculptures enter the mundane life. His works shows a deep connection to the most, through the love of animals.

1981 born in ChiFeng, Inner Mongolia, China.

2006 graduated from the fifth studio of sculpture department in China Central Academy of Fine Art; After the graduation, he established MOTstudio and became the director of model design and the directed of 3D technology.

2001 participated in the project of Replication Dinosaur in PNSO ( a science art research organization) as a director of 3D&Model creation.

2013, he was the art director of KLOVERWORKS (Singapore); Meanwhile, he was also an art consultant of JAMIESHOW (a brand of American fashion dolls).

2015, he established KEMEworks — a cultural and creative company and he has been the art director of the company from the time.
